No volume when playing an audio file

I have downloaded several MP3s from Dropbox into PiaScore. When I click the music icon at the left of a score, the iTunes/Audio play feature displays. I tap audio file and then choose one of the MP3s from the list. The scrub bar notes that the music is playing...time advances, but there is no sound. Yes, the sound bar is turned all the way on. There is no mute button on an iPad either. I can go to the Files app and locate any of the MP3s, and when I tap them, they play just fine. But they will not produce any sound within PiaScore.

  In our environment, the app can play the MP3 file normally.

  Please check your device's sound setting or could you contact support@piascore.com?

  I am also having problems with no volume when playing an mp3. iTunes works fine - just not mp3 when I select audio file. Sound setting is fine on iPad. I sent an email for further help.
